Sea Turtle
 
your underbelly
       scaled
       protective
 
you swim
circling waves
       undercurrents
that smooth out
 
your reptilian skin
       spots
       flippers
       sharp bill
       snap shut
 
reef fills with food
       a home
       so sweet
 
like your sapphire eyes
